 I hope you are enjoying this website. You have clicked on the page titled, "About the Teacher." Miss Kimberly Taniguchi is a native San Diegan. She attended Ericson Elementary from first through sixth grade. She attended the University of California San Diego and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development with a minor in linguistics and an emphasis in American Sign Language. After she completed her studies at UCSD, she realized that she wanted to continue to go to school, but in a different city. Miss T. left San Diego to begin graduate school at the University of Southern California, where she spent a year in Los Angeles and earned her Master of Arts in teaching and elementary school credential. She misses USC and will continue to support the football team from the comfort of her comfy couch. In her spare time, she likes to surf the web looking for exciting lessons and ideas for her kids. When it's baseball season, she likes to watch and attend San Diego Padres baseball games. She also enjoys going to Disneyland and collecting Winnie the Pooh bean bags....an obsession that started in high school! Here's a picture of Miss Taniguchi when she was in kindergarten.  |
