Principal's Message

Dear Family Members and Community,

Welcome back everyone from a nice long winter vacation. This is an important part of the year, as we head into spring and our CST testing. Therefore, attendance is more important now than ever! Please have your students here on time every day. Every day your child is absent, that is more than 6 hours’ worth of instruction that we do not get back. I also encourage you to make sure your child is reading every night for 20-30 minutes. Every child should have a library book that they can read every night and be ready to take an AR test at school to test their comprehension. Just before the winter break we rewarded all the students who had an average of 80% or better and had met their goal for AR points with a movie, popcorn, and a juice to celebrate their hard work. We want your child to join us in the next celebration at the end of the 3rd quarter on March 23rd.
