Awards Assembly
In order to reduce the time our students are out
of the class and to maximize their education, we
are reformatting our Awards Assembly schedule.
Students will still be recognized for their
achievement quarterly basis instead of monthly. The next Awards Assembly will be on March 16th,
2012 at: PreK – 2 at 1:10 / 3 – 4 at 1:40 / 5 - 6
at 2:10. Please check your child’s notice for the
appropriate time or call the office at 336-8800. |

6th Grade Camp Payments:
Just a reminder that our 6th camp is will be from
March 12 – 16, 2012. If you are interested in
selling chocolates over the next few weeks to pay
this off, check with your child’s teacher. We
still have some boxes left. You should have
received a letter with your child’s balance before
the break. If you have any questions regarding
your balance contact your teacher or the office. |

Parent Conference Week
Parent conference week will be from January 20,
23, 24, 25 and 27th. Don’t miss this opportunity
to get informed about your child’s progress.
Students will be dismissed at 1:05 – please be
prompt in picking up your child since the teachers
need to begin conferencing immediately after
school. It is not uncommon for the office to be
full of students whose parents forgot it was a
minimum day during parent conferences. Please
don’t forget! |

Winter Activities
We would like to thank all the parents who
supported us in the Winter Dance, Pictures with
Santa and the Winter Shop. These activities were
a great success and our students enjoyed
themselves very much. Next month we will be
having our Friendship Store starting on Feb. 6 –
14 and the Friendship dance on Feb. 16th. |

From the Health Office
KG and 1st grade need a Physical exam CHDP to be
in California Schools. Keep your child's
immunizations up to date. To help protect your
child from whooping cough, a new California law
now requires students to be vaccinated against
whooping cough. Students who do not have proof of
receiving a Tdap booster shot will not able to
start school until proof is provided to the
school.
Parents help keep your child healthy by reminding
them to wash their hands often, cover their mouths
and noise when coughing or sneezing and by getting
plenty of sleep.
If your child gets sick, please call the office to
report his/her absence at 336-8800. Please do not
send your child to school if he/she has a fever.
They need to be fever free for 24 hours before
they may return to school. |
