The ongoing, integral partnership with the Port of San Diego, over the past years, has provided funding for field trips and extended learning opportunities associated with the tidelands, our marine coast, and water conservation. These include but are not limited to the Birch Aquarium, Tijuana Estuary, Chula Vista Nature Interpretive Center, and the Water Conservancy. The Port has also funded special projects for our site Egret Club which is associated with Paradise Creek as well as our fourth grade classes which monitor changes in creek water as part of their science curriculum.
