NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS TO BE INCLUDED ON THE DISTRICT'S LIST OF QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS PER SECTION 22034 OF THE PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE

The National School District has elected to become subject to the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) Procedures.  The District is inviting all licensed contractors to submit information for inclusion on the District list of qualified bidders for the 2024 calendar year.

This Notice requires contractors to provide the name and address to which a Notice to Contractors or Request for Bids or Proposals should be mailed, a telephone number and type of work in which the contractor is interested in and currently licensed to perform (i.e. earthwork, electrical, painting, etc.), together with the class of contractor license(s) held and contractor license number(s).

The District may create a new contractor list, effective January 1st of each year.  The District may include any contractor's name it desires on the contractor list, but must include, at a minimum, all contractors who have properly provided the District with the required information, either during the calendar year in which the list is valid or during November or December of the prior year.  The list will automatically include all contractors who submitted one or more bids to the District during the preceding year.
